Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign Swansea City defender Joe Rodon during the next transfer window.

Manchester United are allegedly regarded as the frontrunners to sign Swansea City defender Joe Rodon.

Despite the January arrival of Bruno Fernandes, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shown a preference for signing British players, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Daniel James all moving to Old Trafford during the previous transfer window.

At a time when England international Jadon Sancho is also being linked with a move to United, Wales Online claims that Rodon is another youngster who could be signed before the end of 2020.

The centre-back has made 21 outings in the Championship this season, while the 22-year-old has made a further four appearances for Wales, establishing himself as a key part of the senior squad.

Manchester City are also said to be monitoring the progression of Rodon, who has just over two years left on his contract.
