Arsenal must reportedly fend off competition from Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool if they are to sign Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico.
The Gunners are said to be monitoring the 26-year-old as Unai Emery is keen to strengthen on the left side of defence, following a frustrating January transfer window,
Don Balon states that Arsenal are not alone in showing an interest, however, as Man United and Liverpool may also make an approach at the end of the season.
Atletico Madrid are also rumoured to be in the running to sign the Argentina international, while the player's agent recently hinted that Real Madrid see Tagliafico as a possible replacement for Juventus-bound Marcelo.
Tagliafico has admitted that he would like to play in the Spanish top flight, but it is claimed that Arsenal, United and Liverpool have not been put off.
