Manchester United are reportedly not prepared to sell Dean Henderson during this summer's transfer window.
The 23-year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan with Sheffield United, helping the Blades earn promotion to the top flight in 2018-19 before impressing in the Premier League this term.
Henderson has kept 10 clean sheets in the league this season, and Chelsea have been credited with an interest in the goalkeeper due to his impressive form.
The former England Under-21 international is due to return to Old Trafford this summer but his route into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first XI is blocked by David de Gea.
According to ESPN, the 20-time English champions will resist any bids for Henderson ahead of the 2019-20 campaign, but the Red Devils are open to the stopper leaving on another loan to continue his development.
The report claims that the Englishman, who has been with United's academy since the age of 14, is seen as a 'viable long-term replacement' for De Gea.
Henderson's current deal at Old Trafford is due to expire in the summer of 2022.
