Manchester United have reportedly identified Red Bull Salzburg forward Erling Haaland as their top target in next summer's transfer window.
The 19-year-old, who played under United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde, has scored a stunning 18 goals in just 11 appearances for Salzburg during the 2019-20 campaign.
A whole host of clubs - including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus - have been linked with the teenager, who looks certain to leave the Austrian outfit over the next two transfer windows.
However, according to AS, United will fight hard to land the centre-forward, with the club viewing him as the ideal player to lead their attack in the coming years.
Haaland, whose father Alf-Inge Haaland famously turned out for Manchester City and Leeds United during his playing days, has a contract at the Red Bull Arena until 2023.
United are currently light in the final third of the field, with the Red Devils allowing both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to leave over the summer without signing replacements.
