Manchester United are reportedly determined to bring Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly to Old Trafford in this summer's transfer window.
A disappointing 2018-19 Premier League campaign saw the Red Devils finish sixth, which is expected to mean a busy transfer window for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
A new centre-back is believed to be a priority, with the likes of Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof struggling for consistency this term.
United have long been linked with a move for Koulibaly, and according to The Mirror, the Senegal international is the club's 'number one transfer target' ahead of the summer window.
The 27-year-old has made 211 appearances for Napoli since a 2014 switch from Genk, developing into one of the best central defenders in the world over the last few seasons.
That said, the 20-time English champions will reportedly have to come up with an offer of £110m - his release clause - in order to open contract talks with the former Metz youngster.
