Manchester United have reportedly made contact with Barcelona regarding the potential signing of Luis Suarez.
The forward has enjoyed a hugely successful period at Camp Nou, but the 32-year-old has contributed just two goals from his last 10 outings in all competitions.
That has led to suggestions that the Catalan giants may be prepared to sell Suarez in the summer, and according to Diario Gol, United have already made their first move.
The report says that the Premier League giants have been in contact with the 'environment of Suarez', with the Uruguay international considered a potential addition in attack.
However, Suarez may opt to decline any approach for United due to having already represented the club's fierce rivals Liverpool.
