Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Saul Niguez this summer but are not prepared to pay more than €50m (£43m) to bring the Atletico Madrid midfielder to Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old's contract at Wanda Metropolitano is due to run until June 2026, but there has recently been speculation surrounding his future at the club.
According to La Razon, the Red Devils are currently the only side to show a concrete interest in the Spaniard, who has scored twice in 30 appearances for Diego Simeone's team this season.
However, the report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have made it clear that they would not pay more than €50m (£43m) for the versatile midfielder.
Saul has scored 43 times and registered 18 assists in 326 appearances for Atletico in all competitions, while he has been capped on 19 occasions by the senior Spanish national team.
Man United could be in the market for at least one new midfielder this summer if Paul Pogba, who continues to be linked with Juventus, moves on.
