Manchester United will reportedly sit down with Alejandro Garnacho's agents 'in the next few days', with the club determined to sign the youngster to a new long-term deal.
The 18-year-old is part of the first-team set-up at Old Trafford this term, and he has already made three appearances for Erik ten Hag's side in 2022-23, with two of those coming in the Europa League.
The attacker made two Premier League appearances in the latter stages of last season, debuting against Chelsea before featuring in his side's final game of the campaign at Crystal Palace.
There were suggestions over the summer that the Argentina Under-20 international could leave on loan, with as many as 20 clubs believed to have made offers to sign him.
However, Ten Hag decided to keep hold of Garnacho, who was named the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year for 2021-22 due to his impressive form at youth level.

According to AS, Man United will hold contract talks with the youngster's camp 'in the next few days', as the club look to sign him to a long-term deal.
Garnacho's current agreement is due to run until June 2025, but the Red Devils are said to be keen to extend it further due to his impressive development at Old Trafford.
The report claims that Man United are aware of the growing interest in the South American, with an unnamed Spanish club keeping a close eye on his situation in Manchester.
Garnacho has not been in the squad for his side's last two Premier League matches but was on the bench against Omonia in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The youngster starred at Under-18 and Under-23 level last season, scoring four goals and providing one assist in Premier League 2, while he netted two late goals as the Red Devils won the FA Youth Cup.

Garnacho, who joined Man United's Under-18s from Atletico Madrid in October 2020, largely operates as a left-sided attacker but is also capable of playing off the right.
At Under-18 level, he has scored 16 times and registered eight assists, while he has five goals and two assists in 16 games for the club's Under-21s.
Garnacho will now be looking to earn a spot in the Man United squad for Sunday's Premier League clash with Everton at Goodison Park.
Head coach Ten Hag is hopeful that Raphael Varane will recover from an ankle injury in time for the clash with the Toffees, but Donny van de Beek, Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka remain unavailable for selection.
