Manchester United are reportedly still interested in bringing Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez to Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.
The Red Devils were linked with the 25-year-old earlier this year, but the speculation surrounding the Spain international has quietened in recent weeks, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side seemingly focusing on securing a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.
United are facing the possibility of missing out on Sancho this summer, though, with BVB insisting that the England international will not be allowed to leave before the transfer deadline in early October.
According to the Daily Star, the 20-time English champions are preparing to 'revive their interest' in Saul, who could leave the Wanda Metropolitano following Atletico's surprise Champions League elimination to RB Leipzig.
The report claims that United would be willing to hand the midfielder a £150,000-a-week contract to move to Old Trafford, although it remains to be seen whether the club can agree a fee with Atletico.
Saul's existing deal with Diego Simeone's side still has six years left to run.
