Manchester United are reportedly prioritising a move for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho instead of Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane.
Despite securing Champions League football for the 2021-22 campaign, Dortmund have allegedly told Sancho that he is free to leave the club this summer, and a fee of £80m could seal the deal.
Meanwhile, Kane's supposed transfer request at Tottenham is understood to have put Man United on red alert, but the Red Devils have triggered Edinson Cavani's one-year extension.
According to the Daily Mail, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not prepared to spend big on a centre-forward as Cavani prepares to spend one more year at the club, so the United boss will instead prioritise Sancho for the right-wing spot.
The report claims that Solskjaer will instead wait another 12 months before trying to sign Erling Braut Haaland, who is believed to have a £65m release clause in his Dortmund contract which activates in 2022.
Sancho enjoyed another prolific campaign with Dortmund last term, chalking up 16 goals and 20 assists in all competitions as the Black and Yellow won the DFB-Pokal.
