Manchester United are reportedly interested in bringing former Crystal Palace forward Alexander Sorloth to Old Trafford.
Sorloth failed to score in his 16 Premier League appearances for the Eagles and now plays for Turkish side Trabzonspor, where he has scored 27 goals and provided seven assists this season after joining on a two-year loan deal in the summer.
According to the The Sun, Man United, along with Sheffield United, Sevilla and RB Leipzig, sent scouts to watch Sorloth play during his side's 5-2 win over Rizespor on the weekend.
The newspaper report also claims that a number of Premier League sides are interested in Sorloth, although Trabzonspor have a clause in their deal with Palace which enables them to sign the striker for £6m in the summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to have made signing a new striker his top priority this summer, with January arrival Odion Ighalo's loan spell set to run out at the end of the season.
