Manchester United want £17m for Diogo Dalot amid suggestions that AC Milan are interested in a summer deal, according to a report.

Manchester United have reportedly made it clear to AC Milan that Diogo Dalot will be unable to leave Old Trafford this summer unless an offer in the region of €20m (£17m) is received.

The 22-year-old spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan with Milan, making 33 appearances for the Italian giants, contributing two goals and three assists in the process.

Dalot, who was in action for Portugal at Euro 2020, is now back with Man United and has been involved in their preparations for the new season.

Milan continue to be linked with the right-back, and according to Milan Live, the Italian giants could sign him on a permanent basis for a fee in the region of €20m (£17m).

However, the report claims that the Serie A outfit are not prepared to meet that figure and would only be interested in a loan deal with an option to buy next summer.

Dalot, who has made 35 first-team appearances for his parent club since arriving from Porto in 2018, has two years left to run on his contract with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
