Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Manchester United.
The Premier League giants are well stocked for players in the centre of the park, with Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba all vying for two places.
However, United will soon need a long-term replacement for Michael Carrick and it appears that Jose Mourinho is already considering his options.
According to Diario Gol, United intend to test the water for the 25-year-old, who has established himself as an important part of Zinedine Zidane's side at the Bernabeu.
The Brazilian has netted nine goals in 110 appearances for the Spanish team, including a strike in the Champions League final against Juventus.
However, while United are allegedly keen, Casemiro has a contract at Real until 2021 and it has been suggested that the ball-winner has little desire to leave his current club at this stage of his career.
