Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret.
The 27-year-old is Antonio Conte's first-choice shot-stopper at Napoli, having featured in 11 of the club's 14 league games this season.
Meret has kept seven clean sheets in his 11 Serie A appearances, helping his side establish a narrow one-point lead at the top of Serie A.
The Italy international will be focused on Napoli's title bid, but there is some uncertainty about whether he will still be with the club next season.
Meret is out of contract at the end of the campaign and it is currently unclear as to whether a new deal will be agreed between the two parties.

Man United eyeing Meret move
The goalkeeper's contract situation has alerted a number of potential suitors, including one of the Premier League's biggest clubs.
According to journalist Florian Plettenburg, Man United have shown an interest in signing Meret on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.
Serie A champions Inter Milan could rival Man United and offer Meret the chance to stay in Italy if it becomes clear that he will leave Napoli at the end of the season.
The update also claims that there have also been a number of 'concrete inquiries' for Meret, who will be able to begin talks with clubs outside Italy over a pre-contract agreement in January.

Do Man United need to sign Meret?
Man United's reported interest in Meret may come as a surprise following Andre Onana's promising form this season.
The Cameroon international has played every minute for Man United this season, including 13 appearances in the Premier League.
Onana has conceded just 13 goals in the English top flight in 2024-25, leaving the Red Devils with the joint-best defensive record alongside Nottingham Forest.
While Onana may be the club's undisputed number one, there has been a suggestion that Altay Bayindir could leave in January of next summer in search of regular game time.
If Bayindir were to depart, Man United would likely delve into the transfer market to recruit a new goalkeeper to be Onana's understudy.
However, it is difficult to see Meret being open to the idea of being a number two goalkeeper after demonstrating his quality as a first-choice shot-stopper with Napoli.
