Manchester United defender Michael Keane has confirmed his interest in extending his loan spell at Derby County.
The 20-year-old joined the Rams last month and has made four first-team appearances so far, but his current deal is due to expire after the Championship clash with Wigan Athletic on New Year's Day.
"I would definitely be interested in staying," Keane told The Mirror. "Obviously, we will have to wait and see what United think.
"It will also be important to see if I am playing games because that is the most important thing for me. But I have enjoyed myself here and if that is still the case and I keep playing football then I would love to stay.
"There is a really positive atmosphere here with all the good results and so much talent in the squad that it is a pleasure to be part of."
Keane, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester City, has made just three first-team appearances for Man United, all of which have come in the League Cup.
