Manchester United have reportedly agreed a £44m deal to sign striker Radamel Falcao on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old joined United on loan from Monaco in the summer, but it was not known whether a permanent move would go through.
However, Goal.com claims that the Red Devils have the option to activate an agreement in the player's contract next summer if they are satisfied with his performances.
Falcao, who has made five appearances in the Premier League this campaign, is said to earn around £240,000 per week at Old Trafford, with United agreeing to the same terms should the switch materialise.
The same report suggests that United have recently been locked in talks with Falcao's agent, Jorge Mendes, in order to make the transfer go through smoothly.
