Manchester United are reportedly on the brink of completing a deal for Saul Niguez after agreeing a fee with Atletico Madrid.
The Red Devils are already planning for next season and are rumoured to have earmarked Saul as the ideal replacement for Paul Pogba.
According to Spanish outlet Todofichajes, United have practically concluded a transfer for the 25-year-old, with the Premier League side allegedly handing over £70m for his signature.
That is down from the £131m Atletico were originally holding out for prior to the coronavirus pandemic changing the landscape of the upcoming transfer window.
The move depends on Pogba sealing a move away from Old Trafford, however, as United need to first raise funds through player sales.
Real Madrid and Juventus are the only sides realistically in the running to sign Pogba this summer.
