A report claims that Manchester United have accepted they are unlikely to recoup any more than £60m for midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

Manchester United have reportedly acknowledged that they are unlikely to receive any bids in excess of £60m for midfielder Paul Pogba.

The France international had been tipped to depart Old Trafford at the end of a campaign that has been plagued by injuries.

Pogba, who has started just six matches in all competitions this term, is rumoured to be a target for Real Madrid and former side Juventus.

United wanted £150m for the 27-year-old last summer, but the Evening Standard reports that the Red Devils have now privately accepted that his valuation has plummeted drastically.

Clubs across Europe are having to adapt to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, meaning that big-money deals are unlikely to go through this year.

The same report indicates that United's planned move for Jadon Sancho may also be off unless they can negotiate a better deal with Borussia Dortmund.
