Manchester United have reportedly enquired about the availability of Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior as their search for a new winger continues.
The Red Devils remain hopeful of prising top target Jadon Sancho away from Borussia Dortmund, despite the two clubs being at odds over a fee for the 20-year-old England international.
However, Dortmund's bullish stance over Sancho's future has forced United to consider alternative options, and Defensa Central reports that Vinicius is one of the names on their shortlist.
The 20-year-old Brazilian was reportedly unhappy at being left out of their Champions League last-16 second leg against Manchester City and has subsequently been linked with a move away this summer.
The likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with the youngster, and United have now also reportedly made an enquiry.
However, Madrid are understood to have no interest in selling Vinicius just two years after signing him, with manager Zinedine Zidane considering him a key part of the club's long-term future.
The winger, who primarily plays on the left but can also feature on the right or through the middle, is contracted to Madrid until 2025 in a deal which is thought to include a €700m (£633.2m) release clause.
