The Premier League champions have already failed with three bids for the Belgian international this summer.

However, talks between the two clubs are progressing and a deal is expected to be completed by tonight's 11pm transfer deadline, according to BBC Sport.

Meanwhile, it is unclear whether the Red Devils are close to signing Fellaini's Everton teammate Leighton Baines after pursuing the defender in recent months.
