Manchester United have been reported as the club who failed with a bid to sign Fulham midfielder Moussa Dembele.
The Cottagers revealed yesterday that the club had rejected a "very low" offer from an unnamed Premier League club.
According to talkSPORT, it was the Red Devils who made the offer, which was believed to be less than £5m.
Dembele, who has 40 caps for Belgium, has impressed at Craven Cottage since his 2010 move from AZ Alkmaar.
