Manchester United's head of scouting has reportedly traveled to Austria to watch transfer target Erling Braut Haaland in action against Liverpool.
The youngster has attracted the attention of several top clubs this season after netting 28 goals in all competitions, eight of which have come in the Champions League.
Reports have heavily linked United with expressing an interest in doing a deal for Haaland, whom Ole Gunnar Solskjaer coached during his time at Molde.
According to The Mirror, head of scouting Marcel Bout personally went to see the player in action against Jurgen Klopp's side.
Haaland was unable to add to his tally against Liverpool, who claimed a 2-0 win with a pair of quickfire goals in the second half.
Sources have recently suggested that Haaland would be available for just £17m next month due to a clause in his current deal.
