Manchester United reportedly consider a deal with Barcelona that would result in Wayne Rooney moving to Camp Nou and Thiago Alcantara arriving at Old Trafford.

Manchester United are reportedly considering a swap deal with Barcelona involving Wayne Rooney and Thiago Alcantara.

The Premier League champions have been heavily linked with the Spain Under-21 captain, with reports claiming that the 22-year-old is keen on a switch to Old Trafford.

With Rooney's future still up in the air, it is believed that Barca are willing to offer £10m plus Thiago for the England international, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.

While there have been suggestions that Rooney is poised to leave the North-West outfit this summer, new manager David Moyes is said to be keen on keeping hold of the striker.
