Manchester United reportedly intend to make a late offer for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
The France international has already announced that he will leave the Spanish side this summer, leading to strong speculation regarding a switch to Barcelona.
Griezmann insists that he may not play in La Liga next season, a claim which has dismissed by chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin, who feels that the player will move to Camp Nou.
Nevertheless, The Sun says that United are ready to remain in the hunt for the 28-year-old's signature by lodging a bid in the region of £95m.
That fee would fall short of Griezmann's €120m (£106.78m) release clause, which comes into effect at the start of July.
However, Atletico may see value in accepting any offer from United if they wish to avoid strengthening the squad of one of their direct rivals.
