Manchester United have reportedly upped their pursuit of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
The Poland international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past, and it appears that the Red Devils remain keen on the forward.
Manager Louis van Gaal is expected to be handed substantial funds to spend in this summer's transfer window, and Lewandowski is believed to be on the Dutchman's wishlist.
According to Spanish publication Fichajes, United have made an enquiry about the 26-year-old, but Bayern are said to be determined to keep hold of their player.
Lewandowski, who moved to the Allianz Arena from Borussia Dortmund last year, has scored 19 goals in all competitions for Bayern this season.
