Manchester United and Manchester City are both reportedly in a position to move for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.
The England international is a player in demand following another successful campaign at the London Stadium last time out.
As well as earning links with a switch to the two Manchester heavyweights, Rice is also rumoured to be high up on Chelsea's list of targets.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea are stalling over making a move and that has allowed United and City to overtake the Blues in the race to sign the 22-year-old.
While neither side has yet to make an official approach, it is claimed that both are actively pursuing a move for Rice, who has spent his entire career to date at West Ham.
Rice is expected to start England's opening Euro 2020 match against Croatia at Wembley on Sunday.
