Staff at Manchester United reportedly believe that Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland will move to Old Trafford over the January transfer window.
The Norwegian striker is on the radar of several top clubs after netting a total of 26 goals in all competitions since August, including seven in the Champions League.
United, who are in the market for a striker, are thought to currently lead the race to sign the 19-year-old.
According to The Athletic, there is a strong feeling at Carrington that Haaland will be a United player by the January transfer window.
Haaland's good relationship with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - the United boss gave the striker his debut at Molde - is expected to serve as a crucial factor in the deal.
However, it has also been noted that any deal for Haaland could be scuppered by the fact that his agent is Mino Raiola, whom United are reluctant to work with.
