Manchester United are reportedly ready to step up their interest in Lyon forward Moussa Dembele.
Ahead of the next transfer window, United are being linked with a wide range of players, some who will command big transfer fees at a time when the market will inevitably change due to the coronavirus pandemic.
That will likely lead to more time being taken to identify specific targets, but it appears that club officials are already open to trying to secure a deal for a new frontman.
According to L'Equipe, United hope to be able to sign Dembele for £45m - a fee significantly lower than what was suggested at the beginning of the year.
Having missed out on qualification for Europe, Lyon will inevitably have to consider offers for their star men having budgeted for participation on the continent.
Nevertheless, it remains unclear whether the Ligue 1 outfit will be prepared to accept such a reduction to Dembele's asking price.
