Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to sell Gareth Bale for around £89m.
The Wales international has been at the Spanish club since his then-world record £85m switch from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.
Over the past four years, the 28-year-old has won 10 trophies, including three Champions League crowns, but his regular spells on the treatment table are reportedly causing concern.
Bale has made seven appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and creating as many assists, but is now out of action with a calf problem.
According to El Confidencial, the attacker's absences mean that he is "losing importance in the team" and club president Florentino Perez is open to the idea of selling the Welshman, but he wants to recoup the fee.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be keen to bring Bale back to the Premier League, even though the player himself has publicly insisted that he is happy at Madrid.
