Manchester United have reportedly identified Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana as two of their top targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite parting company with David Moyes earlier this week, the club are eager to press on with plans to add to the squad at the end of the season.
Southampton duo Shaw and Lallana are believed to be attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs, but United are hoping that two big offers could persuade the Saints to do business with them.
According to the Daily Mail, United officials are confident of completing a £30m deal for Shaw, but are also eager to bring Lallana to Old Trafford.
It is believed that Southampton are demanding £25m for Lallana as they will have to pay a percentage of the transfer fee to Bournemouth, where the England international started his youth career.
