Manchester United are to reportedly set to double Dean Henderson's wages to £100,000 a week in order to keep the goalkeeper happy at Old Trafford.
The 23-year-old is back at United following two hugely successful spells on loan with Sheffield United in the Championship and then the Premier League.
Henderson is now expected to rival David de Gea for the number one shirt in the long term following another disappointing campaign for the Spaniard last time out.
However, the ex-England Under-21s international is supposedly unwilling to play a back-up role in 2020-21 and could seek a move away, with Chelsea said to be showing an interest.
According to The Sun, plans are in place to give Henderson a bumper new contract in an attempt to fend off interest from elsewhere.
Should Henderson put pen to paper, it means that United will be spending £575,000 a week on wages for their three goalkeepers, with De Gea on £350,000, Sergio Romero on £70,000 and Lee Grant picking up £30,000.
