Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of reaching an agreement with Inter Milan over a deal for Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The Red Devils are in the market for a new number one, having allowed David de Gea to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer at the end of last month.
Onana is Man United's first choice between the sticks, and it is understood that the club are now close to coming to an agreement with Inter over the former Cameroon international.
According to the Daily Mail, discussions between the two teams are 'close to concluding', with Inter expecting to receive £43m for the goalkeeper, including add-ons.
Onana allegedly reached an agreement with Man United over personal terms some time ago and therefore he will undergo a medical once the two clubs have officially settled on a fee.

Man United are expecting to have Onana on the plane for their pre-season tour of the United States, with head coach Erik ten Hag keen to implement him into the side as soon as possible.
De Gea won the Golden Glove in the Premier League last season and was again largely impressive with his shot-stopping despite making some high-profile mistakes.
There were huge question marks over De Gea's suitability for a Ten Hag system which relies on playing out from the back, though, which contributed heavily to his departure.
Onana's ability with the ball at his feet is one of his main strengths, while he previously played under Ten Hag at Ajax and is still said to have a strong relationship with the Red Devils manager.

The Cameroonian was in excellent form for Inter during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 41 occasions in all competitions, keeping 19 clean sheets in the process.
Onana played a leading role in the Milan giants reaching the final of the Champions League, keeping eight clean sheets in 13 appearances in the competition.
Tom Heaton is currently the club's only senior available goalkeeper, with Dean Henderson still on the sidelines recovering from a thigh problem.
Man United are expected to sign another stopper alongside Onana, as Henderson is likely to move to Nottingham Forest on a permanent basis.
The Red Devils have allegedly been in talks with Urawa Red Diamonds over a move for 20-year-old Zion Suzuki, who could come in as a number two or a number three.
