Manchester United have reportedly cooled their interest in West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to some of the Premier League's top teams in recent transfer windows, and West Ham are reportedly open to selling him in order to raise funds following the coronavirus pandemic.
United are one of the teams to have previously been credited with an interest in Rice, but the Manchester Evening News reports that the Red Devils no longer consider him one of their primary transfer targets.
The report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's need for a defensive midfielder has lessened in recent months, with Fred and Nemanja Matic having re-established themselves in the first team.
United will instead look to prioritise other transfer targets when the window reopens, with the likes of Jadon Sancho and Harry Kane among the players to have been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Rice, who has been an ever-present for West Ham in the Premier League this season, is also thought to be wanted by Chelsea.
