Manchester United will reportedly be making no further attempt to sign Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho in this summer's transfer window.
United have been strongly linked with the 19-year-old over the last few months. Indeed, the former Manchester City youngster had been viewed as one of the club's leading targets ahead of the new campaign.
However, according to ESPN FC, United are not prepared to pay between £80m and £90m to land the England international this summer, which has led to the Red Devils dropping their interest.
The report has added that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side remain admirers of Sancho, but the club are not prepared to meet Dortmund's asking price.
The attacker has scored 14 times and registered 23 assists in 55 appearances for Dortmund since rejecting a new deal at City to move to the Bundesliga giants in June 2017.
United are expected to make at least three signings this summer after finishing sixth in the Premier League last term.
