Manchester United have reportedly made an offer for Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.
The Red Devils are planning to bring a new stopper to the club before the end of the transfer window, having allowed Dean Henderson to join Nottingham Forest on loan for the 2022-23 campaign.
Lee Grant also retired at the end of last season, leaving Tom Heaton as the only senior backup to current number one David de Gea.
Man United have been linked with a number of goalkeepers in recent weeks, with Benfica's Odysseas Vlachodimos believed to be on the club's shortlist heading into the final stages of the market, while Leeds United's Illan Meslier is also allegedly admired.
However, according to German journalist Christian Falk, the 20-time English champions have now made an offer for Frankfurt goalkeeper Trapp.

The 32-year-old started his professional career with Kaiserslautern, while he represented Frankfurt between 2012 and 2015 before moving to Paris Saint-Germain.
Trapp made 91 appearances for the French giants, including 46 outings during his first season at the club, but he spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Frankfurt before returning to the German side on a permanent deal in August 2019.
The German featured on 46 appearances last term, helping Frankfurt win the Europa League in the process, while he lifted two Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France crowns and two Coupe de la Ligue trophies during his time in Paris.
Trapp has already made five appearances for the Eagles this term, conceding 10 goals, including eight in just three Bundesliga outings.
Oliver Glasner's side are believed to be determined to keep hold of the six-time Germany international, who has another two years left to run on his contract, but they are yet to reject the offer that has been placed on the table by Man United.

The English side have made Casemiro their fourth signing of the summer market, with the Brazilian following Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen to the club.
Erik ten Hag's side are believed to be working on deals for a number of other players, though, with Ajax's Antony, Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong and PSV Eindhoven's Cody Gakpo also being linked with the club.
There have also been suggestions that a new right-back could arrive to provide competition for Diogo Dalot, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka potentially being allowed to depart before the end of the window.
Man United also have young goalkeepers Matej Kovar and Nathan Bishop at the club, but the pair are expected to join Cheltenham Town and Wycombe Wanderers on loan respectively before the end of the window.
