Claudio Marchisio seeks assurance from Juventus that he will continue to be an integral figure in the team.

Claudio Marchisio has admitted that he is flattered by reported interest from Manchester United and Monaco.

The Italian international said that he is planning talks with Juventus when he returns from the Confederations Cup in Brazil.

"I will have to talk to Juventus, I want to see if I'm still important for them," the 27-year-old told reporters. "If not, then it is only normal for me to look at other teams.

"Eventual offers from Manchester United or Monaco make me proud, but nobody has called me.

"Now I am focusing on the Confederations Cup and after that I'll understand what's real and what isn't."

Reports suggest that United and Monaco will open the bidding at €20m (£17m).
