Manchester United are reportedly willing to make Marcus Rashford their best-paid player if the England international agrees to a new long-term contract.
The 25-year-old has experienced a marked upturn in fortunes since Erik ten Hag took charge in the summer, coming up with eight goals and three assists in 19 games this term.
Rashford's strong form domestically earned him a place in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the 2022 World Cup, and he ended the tournament with three goals despite only starting one game.
The Red Devils academy graduate is due to become a free agent at the end of the season, and he could begin pre-contract talks with foreign clubs next month.
However, there is a 12-month extension option in Rashford's contract, and Ten Hag has confirmed that the club will trigger that clause to keep him on until 2024.

A question mark is still hanging over Rashford's long-term future, but Man United are understood to be determined to agree a new lengthy deal with the England attacker.
Should Rashford commit his peak years to the Red Devils, the Daily Star claims that the club are ready to reward him with a pay packet that would see him become their top earner.
The report states that Rashford has rejected the chance to sign a new £300k-a-week deal at the Theatre of Dreams, but United chiefs are prepared to up their offer to £400k a week.
Such a deal would shoot Rashford to the top of Man United's salary charts, with David de Gea currently the highest-paid player at the club on £375k per week after Cristiano Ronaldo's £500k weekly salary was cut from the books.
If Rashford ultimately decides against signing a new long-term deal at Man United, Ten Hag is expected to give the green light to a sale next summer rather than lose him for free in 2024.

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to pounce if Rashford seeks pastures new, but they can expect to be quoted a whopping £80m from Man United.
PSG are said to have prepared a staggering £850k-a-week contract offer for Rashford, who has a total of 101 goals and 60 assists from 322 matches in a Man United shirt since coming through their youth setup.
The striker has won the Europa League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and Community Shield during his time at Old Trafford, and he was named the Red Devils' Player of the Year for the 2019-20 campaign.
Full-backs Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw are also out of contract in 2023, but Ten Hag has confirmed that the duo's 12-month options will be triggered alongside Rashford's.
However, De Gea could reportedly be allowed to leave when his deal runs out at the end of the season, with Ten Hag ready to sanction a move for a new number one goalkeeper.
