New Derby County manager Steve McClaren has reportedly got to decide if he would like to make Michael Keane part of his playing squad at Pride Park.
It had been claimed that Nigel Clough had lined up a loan move for the Manchester United defender prior to being sacked on Saturday evening.
However, the Premier League champions are still content for the switch to happen, but will wait for McClaren to make a decision, according to The Mirror.
The report added that a similar deal for Barnsley midfielder David Perkins was also put in place by Clough, but as with the Keane proposal, McClaren would now have to sanction it.
