Centre-back Luke McCullough ends his loan spell with Cheltenham Town and returns to Manchester United.

Manchester United have recalled Luke McCullough from his loan spell with Cheltenham Town.

The 19-year-old made just one appearance as a substitute during his stint with the League Two side.

"I want to thank Manchester United and Luke," Cheltenham manager Mark Yates told the club's official website.

"Both have been superb and we totally understand why the reasoning for the recall. Luke has had to be very patient but we were happy to have him round here and I hope the experience of being around a first team has been beneficial for him."

The centre-back has never featured for the Man United senior side.
