Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn is reportedly one of six players who Antonio Conte is keen to bring to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The 27-year-old has been an important player for Steven Gerrard's side this season, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.
According to the Daily Telegraph, McGinn is rated highly by Tottenham's hierarchy, who intend to hold further discussions internally before deciding whether to approach Villa this summer.
The report adds that Conte is looking to recruit as many as six players ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, with the Italian hoping to bolster his squad now that Champions League football has almost been secured.
Spurs – who travel to relegated Norwich City on the final day of the season – currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, two points clear of North London rivals Arsenal in fifth.
McGinn, who has also been linked with Manchester United, is under contract at Villa Park until June 2025.
