Mino Raiola: 'Paul Pogba must be left alone'

Mino Raiola says that he will no longer be speaking out on Paul Pogba's future and will work "in the shadows" on the Manchester United midfielder's future.

Mino Raiola has claimed that he will no longer be speaking out on Paul Pogba's future and will work "in the shadows" as the speculation surrounding the Manchester United midfielder continues.

In the latter stages of 2020, Raiola said that Pogba's time at United was "over" and urged the Red Devils to sell his client during the January transfer window.

The France international has remained at Old Trafford, though, and was in impressive form for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side before picking up a muscular problem last weekend.

The 27-year-old's contract is due to expire in June 2022, and Juventus continue to be linked with his services.

When questioned on a potential switch to Turin, Raiola insisted that he will no longer be speaking out on the midfielder's future and will instead conduct his business behind closed doors.

"Pogba must also be left alone. When I speak people get nervous, they don't sleep at night, so I don't speak anymore. I will do what I have to do not in front of you, but in the shadows, as I have always done", Raiola told TuttoMercatoWeb.

The former World Cup winner has scored four times and registered three assists in 28 appearances for the 20-time English champions during the 2020-21 campaign.
