Manchester United winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan is reportedly open to considering a return to Borussia Dortmund in this window.
The Armenian international has fallen short this season, with manager Jose Mourinho unconvinced that he deserves a regular spot in the team.
In fact, the 28-year-old has started only 11 Premier League games and has played a full 90 minutes just twice, and both of those outings were in the Champions League.
According to The Independent, there is a willingness from both the player and Dortmund to thrash out a deal, but the German club are not prepared to match Mkhitaryan's £120,000-a-week wage packet.
The report suggests that a transfer in the summer would be much more likely, but United are open to selling in this window if an appropriate offer is tabled.
Mkhitaryan spent three years at Dortmund before joining the Red Devils in 2016.
