Jose Mourinho wants Lassana Diarra at Manchester United?

A report claims that Jose Mourinho will move for Marseille midfielder Lassana Diarra if he takes charge of Manchester United at the end of the season.

Jose Mourinho will reportedly attempt to bring Marseille midfielder Lassana Diarra to Manchester United this summer if the Portuguese replaces Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.

Speculation linking Mourinho with Man United has quietened in recent weeks, but it is understood that the former Chelsea boss is still in the running to take charge of the 20-time English champions.

According to Le 10 Sport, should Mourinho arrive in Manchester, he will move for Diarra, who played under him at Chelsea.

The 31-year-old, who has also represented Arsenal and Portsmouth in the Premier League, joined Marseille on a free transfer last summer after leaving Russian outfit Lokomotiv Moscow.
