Manchester United manager David Moyes has played down reports that he has been on a recent scouting mission for players across Europe.
The Scotsman has been spotted over the last week watching matches in France and Italy, prompting reports that he is seeking fresh talent.
However, the former Everton boss has insisted that he has been travelling around Europe to 'study' the game.
"I just enjoy watching football," Moyes said in a press conference. "I want to enjoy watching football all over the world. I try to get to as many games, that's my style.
"I'm not always going to games to sign players. I'm sometimes going just for more knowledge and watching what's going on. So I've done a wee bit of globetrotting over the last few days."
Moyes, who failed to land the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Ander Herrera and Thiago Alcantara in the summer, is yet to secure a signing this month.
United will go up against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
