Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has claimed that Kalidou Koulibaly will remain at Stadio San Paolo for the current season.
Throughout the summer transfer window, Koulibaly has been heavily linked with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has frequently hinted that the Senegal international could be sold, providing that the club receive their asking price.
However, Giuntoli has suggested that Napoli will be making no further signings, adding that Koulibaly will remain a part of Gennaro Gattuso's squad.
Speaking to Sky Italia, Giuntoli said: "Our squad is complete, so will now try to release players who won't have much time on the pitch.
"I think Koulibaly is staying, we are very happy and so is he. He has three years on his current deal, I believe he is staying."
The 29-year-old has started Napoli's opening two games in Serie A, helping his side to wins and clean sheets against Parma and Genoa respectively.
