Real Madrid will allegedly end their pursuit of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba if they are able to complete the signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar.
Despite a summer-long effort to bring in Pogba, Real have not got close to tempting United into selling the World Cup winner, who effectively has three years left on his contract.
However, speculation persists regarding a possible approach for Neymar, an idea which Zinedine Zidane refused to dismiss when quizzed on the subject over the weekend.
According to The Sun, Real will not proceed with another bid for Pogba if they are successful in securing the signature of Neymar in the coming weeks.
The report suggests that Neymar would earn a deal worth in the region of £700,000 per week if he completes a switch to the Bernabeu.
PSG are said to be interested in midfielder Luka Modric being included in any proposal.
