Report: Nicolas Otamendi eyes Manchester United move

Valencia centre-back Nicolas Otamendi wants to join Manchester United this summer, according to reports.

The Argentine international has been linked with a £35m move to Old Trafford over the past few months, and he is now said to be keen to force it over the line.

The Mirror claims that Otamendi has told his international teammates that he wants to go to the former Premier League champions and he is happy to accept a lower wage packet.

However, the report also says that Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels remains Louis van Gaal's first choice.

Otamendi is currently with Argentina in the Copa America.
