Paul Pogba reportedly favours a return to Juventus over a switch to Real Madrid.
The France international was strongly linked with a move away from Manchester United during the summer transfer window, with Juve and Madrid both said to be interested in a deal.
The Red Devils ultimately priced the France international out of a summer exit, but Pogba has reportedly made it clear to the 20-time English champions that he will not be signing a new deal at the club.
According to reports in Spain, the 2018 World Cup winner would rather return to Juve in next summer's transfer window than be a part of another transfer saga involving the Spanish giants.
United will allegedly resist any attempt from the player to leave in the January transfer window, but it appears likely that the former Le Havre youngster will be allowed to leave ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Pogba has missed seven of United's last eight matches in all competitions with an ankle injury and will again be absent for Sunday's Premier League clash against Norwich City at Carrow Road.
