Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly fearful that he will be priced out of a move to Real Madrid during this summer's transfer window.
Pogba's future has been the subject of much speculation since the end of the 2019-20 campaign, with Madrid and Juventus both linked with moves for the France international.
However, according to The Mirror, the fact that United want at least £150m for the 2018 World Cup winner will make it difficult for Madrid to complete a deal at this stage of the window.
The report claims that Los Blancos are also reluctant to meet Pogba's wage demands of £500,000 a week, with the club's president Florentino Perez against the move due to the finances involved.
Pogba has been heavily involved in United's preparations for the 2019-20 campaign despite the speculation surrounding his future.
The 26-year-old was not involved in Saturday's International Champions Cup clash against AC Milan, although Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisted that his absence was due to a back problem.
