Paul Pogba reportedly tells Manchester United that he will look to leave Old Trafford in January if Jose Mourinho is not sacked as manager.

Paul Pogba has reportedly indicated that he will look to leave Manchester United if Jose Mourinho is not sacked as manager.

Pogba and Mourinho clashed last month, with the France international being stripped of the vice-captaincy at Old Trafford as well as been seen getting into a frosty exchange with his boss at the training ground.

The 25-year-old has also underperformed - leading to a substitution in Saturday's 3-1 defeat at West Ham United - and the World Cup winner has allegedly grown increasingly frustrated at the Premier League giants.

According to The Sun, Pogba has told the club's hierarchy that he wants to leave United should Mourinho remain in the dugout in the long term.

United are unlikely to give the green light to a sale midway through the season, but such a move may only encourage Barcelona to back up their reported interest in the player.

Pogba still has just under three years remaining on his contract at the North-West outfit.
